I am the first to admit that my relationships and connections are what drive me as a photographer. I fully believe that knowing someone well enables me to capture them well. How do you manage young children?
I have so many tricks! My photo sessions are fun & full of connection. We will stay busy and my posing flow will keep little ones entertained & engaged in the process. As a mother of two young children, I know getting authentic smiles has its challenges, but is well worth the work!
Help — I have no idea how to style my family!
Prior to your session, we will discuss location ideas and wardrobe. If you are needing help styling yourself or your family, I have styling guides to help you pull together colors and textures in order to make your clothing selections unique and complimentary! I have tons of Ideas and am always happy to help clients dress their families with clothes they love and feel confident in!
I can’t decide between a 30 or 60 minute session. Can you help?
For most family sessions, I recommend 30 minutes. While it might not seem like much time, I am constantly prompting and posing my clients in ways to get a large variety of images in your final gallery. 30 minute sessions allow for posed portraits, individuals of children, and interactive candids! For a slower pace, and for my extended family groups, I recommend 60 minutes. Please reach out if you have more questions regarding your session duration!
